Martial arts-themed arena fighting game
Fight Ascension is a premium action game for PC from indie developer Erivan.L. It's a martial arts-themed arena fighter wherein players will be facing groups of enemies and engage in brutal melee combat. They will also utilize the ability to manipulate fire to deal devastating attacks and strike down combatants with deadly force.
Spectacle fighter
In Fight Ascension, you play as Sentinel Ignis, who is trapped inside an arena filled with humanoid monsters. Survive as long as possible and fight enemies with deadly combos of kicks and punches. You also have the ability to control fire to help you deal even more damage to groups of combatants at a time.
Survive each stage, and you receive points in return, which you can use to unlock new skills and enhancements to help the growing challenges ahead. On another note, some things that still need improvements are the controls. While easy enough to learn, they can be a bit slow to respond at times. Also, the inconsistent hitboxes make it hard to build up combos and land hits on enemies at times.
Hit or miss
When it works as it should, Fight Ascension is a thrilling action fighting game with brutal and satisfying combat, complemented by the various unlockable skills to add to your move set. When it doesn't, though, you strike at air and end up as a punching bag for enemies. Hopefully, these issues will be fixed as soon as possible.
